Ham & Cheese Croissant Casserole

Ingredients:

·      6 Plain Croissants, cut into 2 in pieces

·      1 cup Heavy Cream

·      4 Eggs

·      3 tbs Lighthouse Keeper’s Beachcomber Mustard

·      1 tsp Black Pepper

·      2 tsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped

·      1/2 tsp Salt

·      1 tsp Cinnamon

·      1/2 lb Sliced Swiss Cheese (10-12 deli slices)

·      ½ lb Black Forest Sliced Deli Ham

·      2 tbs Cape Cod Saltworks Everything Bagel Sea Salt

·      Honey for drizzle, optional

 

Instructions:

·      Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease a 9”x13” casserole dish.

·      In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream and eggs and whisk together. Add mustard, black pepper, rosemary, salt, cinnamon and combine. Toss in croissant pieces and fully coat with the egg and cream mixture.

·      Add half of the soaked croissants into the casserole dish, then add half of the ham and Swiss pieces into the cervices between the croissants. Add the remaining croissants on top and repeat with remaining ham and Swiss. Pour remaining egg mixture over the top and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.

·      Bake at 350 for 30-35,  or until the cheese has melted and croissant tips just begin to brown. Once out of the oven drizzle with honey and serve immediately.
