Savory Lime Steak Tips
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs Steak Tips, trimmed into ¾” pieces
1 tbs Cape Cod Saltworks Garlic & Pepper Sea Salt
1 tbs Olive Oil
2 tbs Unsalted Butter, cut into pieces
1 Shallot, Finely Chopped
1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
3 Tbs Lighthouse Keeper’s Spicy Sailor’s Steak Sauce
1 tbs Soy Sauce
1 Lime, Juiced and Zested
1 tbs Brown Sugar
Black pepper to taste
Scallions for Garnish
Rice for serving
Instructions:
In a 12” skillet, heat olive oil into just smoking, add steak tops and season with garlic & pepper sea salt. Cook until evenly browned.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer steak to a separate bowl. Add butter, shallots and ground ginger to the skillet and allow to cook down.
Add steak sauce, soy sauce, lime juice and brown sugar to the pan and stir until syrupy. Remove from heat and add the steak pack to the pan to coat with sauces.
Transfer to a serving dish over rice and sprinkle with lime zest, black pepper and scallions.
