Spicy Flank Steak with Peppers
Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup Lighthouse Keeper’s Spicy Sailor's Steak Sauce, plus more for serving
2 tbs honey
1 tbs tahini
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp salt, plus more for seasoning steak
2 lb flank steak
4 Red and Orange Bell Peppers
Cape Cod Saltworks Everything Bagel Seasoning for serving
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, steak sauce, honey, tahini, ginger, garlic and salt.
Place steak in a ziplock bag and pour in the marinade. Let sit at room temp for 30 mins, or in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
Pre heat your oven the broil setting and line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
Cut bell peppers into strips.
Remove steak from marinade and place it on your prepared sheet tray and season with salt. Add bell peppers to the pan and pour about ¼ cup of the discarded marinade on the peppers, tossing to coat.
Broil for 4 mins, remove from oven, flip the steak, and toss the peppers and return to the oven for another 4 mons.
Serve with steak sauce for dipping and everything bagel sea salt
